I think the ORD controllers are the best I dealt with anywhere.

EWR controllers also use Flow, and I gotta say that in my experience, given EWR is a smaller airport, They are some of the best in the country.

Newark is a completely different animal than ORD when it comes to groundstops, and because of that, yes, they ARE the best controllers in the world. To watch them unravel all the pads while keeping the international push moving at night during a thunderstorm is impressive to watch.

I will say that when things are moving normally at Newark it's a MUCH more chill airport to operate out of, though Chicago has much more real estate to work with and can clear out their airport in record time once a storm passes.

That guy is annoying, and really gets to me when he clears me into F14 with a plane still on the gate. I wonder if the ground controller has ever had a word with him about this?
Or there's the nice lady who talks like she drank a whole bottle of Nyquil....gotta love it.

But once you're talking to FAA controllers ORD just works. It's a machine.

See that is just wasted transmissions for nothing, and I guarantee if she needed something from any of the other pilots in the following transmissions she would have got "unable" or "looking"(when trying to get visual) instead of just brushing off a blocked transmission she gets everyone against her.
