United 93 - Accident Investigation

And that is an admirable goal, but he fails because his "evidence" is cherry picked and hardly compelling. It also tends to undermine his position as being based anywhere in reality, so you might see how that could be counterproductive to reaching that goal.

That's funny, because at this point you are just about the only person here trying to dispute him, and your arguments are weak.

Of course I'm sure you'll attack me now because I said that...well, NOW you won't, because you won't want to do what I just predicted you will do...

What arguments did I make? I specifically said I wouldn't dispute him because I've seen his exact position again and again. It's typical conspiracy "nutter" as Boris so eloquently puts it. The "public" has never been told, but the conspiracy theorist has the answer.

I do find it suspiciously interesting that it seems like our newest users are taking one particular angle on the subject. Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

Get over here and first round is definitely on me. We can discuss the origin of the universe at the new Diving Horse steakhouse in A.C.

If they have two inch thick porterhouses then it's game on! Next summer I'll probably be in Cape May for a week or so, I'll drive up and meet you.

If you're in Cape May, I'll come down, unless you want to hit A.C. It sucks that they closed Bader, I'd come get you and we could walk to the Diving Horse.

Can I get something clarified here? Is anyone who disagrees with the official government report or what the mass media says considered a conspiracy theorist?

You may pick apart my post and label what you think a conspiracy theorist is.

Simply put, no. Being labeled a conspiracy theorist is similar to a stereotype. I will say that I have heard some way out there theories regarding 9/11. Some are down right ridiculous, but there are others that are completely logical. The mass media plays an important role in this. Someone posted a video of those (I forget their names) popular TV personalities on that youtube video. If you watch the video, it offers zero evidence. ZERO. The only thing it did was portray the "conspiracy theorist", as some kind of nut job. They edited it with that being the intention, to make that guy look like a huge goofball. TV is a huge megaphone, no, it's a juggernaut. It walks it's way into every home in America, if you control it, you can make a nun believe that Jesus was in the Fox news studio last Sunday.

Not believing what the news tells you is a good idea these days. They specialize in fear mongering, while not telling you the real important issues. All this week on all kinds of networks, they have a "Never forget 9/11" blitz. I wonder why that is. It's because it's another chance to reinforce it into your mind. Every time someone questions the official story on a major network they get shunned out and ridiculed by the media. They are labeled as crazy, or a loon, or whatever they can throw at them. One thing that weighs the teeter totter out of balance is who is in control, and who is not. Speaking of who is in control. Did you know that there are media outlets being given some of our tax dollars so that the gov. can have an influence in what they report? I highly doubt their going to run a piece on that. See what I mean.

People who are asking questions are not getting airtime on major networks. The media will use every chance they get to reinforce the "Official" story, and that's what it is, a story.

Some here may not like to hear this: Many of the people that question the official story are;

Firefighters- the ones who were there
Engineers
US navy fighter pilots
USAF fighter pilots
Architectural Engineers
Pentagon officials
Many other military officers from all branches
and many other professionals. However, you don't see them on Fox or MSNBC. Ohh, and airline pilots!

Another group is the forgotten group. The first responders. Ya know, the people who are dead and dying of cancer and respiratory diseases right now. A large percentage of them (I've heard numbers of 50-80%) are "truthers".

Notice how people react when we ask questions about this subject. They get angry, emotional, and come out with the attacks. I would say that's because the media has done it's job. Their huge megaphone has spread the message. I just saw an article the other day about school kids are going to be taught the "Official" story. What an efficient way to sell a generation on the boogie man theory. I can still verbatim spit out the pledge allegiance to the flag. I'm sure everyone else can to. Being a conspiracy theorist to me means, you're like a detective. You could be trying to solve anything, who stole the cookie out of the cookie jar. Who destroyed the twin towers and killed 3,000 people. Both are detectives that need to ask questions and gather evidence. Unfortunately 9/11 is more complex than the cookie jar, and it probably doesn't help when all your evidence is destroyed, witnesses lie, etc...etc...

Edit: sorry if my spelling and grammar are way off this morning... I am really tired, I think spell check saved me... NEED COFFEE:concern:

...... I actually did watch the 1st 2 videos you posted......That was all I needed to see to discount your "evidence". .... if you think you are presenting something new, you are mistaken.

Maybe a conspiracy theorist is anyone who carefully studies and questions ALL of the available evidence before making up his mind. . I noted that Darren doesn't "need" to look at everything. . Just 2 of 5. . Less than 50%. . That's impressive. . I usually need to look at all of the evidence presented before I know what evidence was presented. . ( Hey, I wonder if Darren was one of the civilian war planners who decided we had seen more than enough evidence of Saddam's WMD to launch a full out decade long invasion of Iraq. . Certainly no one can ever question how well that's worked out.)

Terrific. . A scholar. . Thanks for that one.

(Maybe we need to have these discussions in the morning, before our unfriendly neighbors pull their six-packs out of the refrigerator and start getting themselves worked up. .)

So, Is it safe to say you feel Youtube video can be easily manipulated to show what the originator wants to show, and not necessarily the entire story?
