And with my Firebird's 305 as an aircraft conversion.
Seats four, not sure how fast with the 305.
And eventual conversion to rocket racing league!
Just so's you don't ding me with, 'Any engine's gonna cost $XX,XXX!'
Haha! A piper saratoga and pretty much ANY helicopter is going to be much more than 50k!
The six is a ridiculously under-rated airplane compared to, say, the 206. They're amazingly simple, and for how cheaply built they are, ridiculously strong. They'll haul whatever you can put in the cabin all day long and never complain. Engines are reliable, and since parts commonality with the smaller Cherokees is quite high, parts are plentiful. The 206 wins for any type of short or unimproved field work though.I'd have to agree with you on trying to find a Saratoga in that price range. Most likely will have to stick with the fixed-gear Cherokee Six.
Mid-1970s American Champion 8KCAB Super Decathlon, preferably with the aluminum wing spar conversion, but I can't afford to be that picky.
Edit: I just found her. <3333
I want to find a few people to go in on one of those in a few years.
Sweet looking airplane! I personally can't have an airplane with wheel pants though.Mid-1970s American Champion 8KCAB Super Decathlon, preferably with the aluminum wing spar conversion, but I can't afford to be that picky.
