I'm not sure if it's a chain or not, but there used to be a place in Jersey out by one of the airports called "94th Bomb Group." Had a WWII aviation motif. There's another similar kind of a place in Wichita, KS called "Hangar 1 Steakhouse." They're pretty awesome too (and the food is good, to boot).

Actually, it's weird but their facebook page and their page in the online yellow pages and everything say "94th Bomb Group" in Fairfax, NJ. But their website takes you to the same "94th Aero Squadron" page that you linked to. And yeah, looks like they've since closed their doors, at least at that location. I wonder why the name change? Maybe they got sued by the real 94th Bomb Group or something?

Yep I agree with that! Very cool place to go and if you have a few beers, it doesn't matter so much if the food is so-so.

I think so. I used to frequent the 94th at College Park, and they were all fiberglass.

C-97 (Boeing 377) parked outside the Don Q Inn in Dodgeville, WI back home. My dad weeps every time he drives by, as the plane was just parked there and left, engines and all, engines left to rot... It's a neat piece of history. The Dodgeville airport that it was flown into is no longer operational, though you can see it's remnants flying overhead.

The fact that I know both those things should at least put me in the running lol. By the way that C-124 is awesome!

Maybe this is just the nerd in me coming out, but knowing that it is a unit of distance not a time I still think it could be of some significance being that they would probably be using the Millennium Falcon's ability to decrease the distance of a set trip by its amazing ability to utilize wormholes efficiently.

Star Wars is serious business.
