I think you guys are forming an opinion of the XJT pilot group's views on PBS based on the opinion of a bunch of radicals and the vocal minority. I think they have plenty of pilots approaching this topic with an open mind. Check all the threads about ASA PBS before the vote. Anyone reading would have assumed our PBS TA would be voted down by a mile.

Exactly. Everyone has a price. For a 100% pay increase, PBS would be voted in by at least 99%

There's no way it's a minority. Also consider that during the last few years ASA has had improvements in QOL and pay, we at XJT have seen our pay and QOL go down. We're coming into PBS with a much different view on things. You had a new contract that was an improvement, we were happy for you but still weren't necessarily wowed by it. Same goes for PBS, maybe it was a step up from where you were.

I've made sure to chat with several dozen XJet crew members on overnights and have yet hit one who is willing to vote on a contract that includes PBS without major give-backs from the company. Maybe minds will change as time rolls on, but when there's a deeply rooted animosity toward PBS and no easy way to compare differences, it's a bit difficult to sell PBS.

We'll see, I don't care either way if we can gain control of the pairings generation!

I have never been so concerned about the leadership of this company. Naming an airline is easy, and they just royally screwed it up. Are these the same people that have understaffed us, took on too much flying, screwed up bid packs, screwed up pay checks...wait, nevermind, this makes perfect sense.

How can you mess a name up so badly?! WTF are they thinking? Surejet?

Why not just keep ExpressJet? Or Atlantic Airlines? ....Surejet?
