Is it me or has Pelican's landing lost some quality lately? I've been going there for a tad over a year but the last 3 or so times it's not been that great.



After not flying for 73 days I went up yesterday and did some practice ILS approaches. I had never done them and I had a blast. I can't wait to start on my instrument. :)

I hadn't seen a SUA sectional in a LONG time. Man, I miss flying out of that place. Naked Lady is right next to that HUGE antenna farm. I remember being under the hood on the GPS for 12 and watching those antennas drift by out of the corner of my eye. Gave me a quick appreciation for not going below a segment altitude on an approach.
