Yeah, if you work out COLA increases of about 3% per year, that works out to......um, nothing.
less than nothing, as that doesn't account for the years they spent with the 10% cut.
I don't know. It's a little over half way through here, and he's saying it's "thought provoking how on the edge some people are living." I don't buy that one bit. He knows how little his ramp, CSR, FAs, pilots, etc are making. It seems to me it's quite animated and he's just feeding lines to the viewing public.
Lastly, it won't be a part of the fabric that he is as a CEO. The day will come when HIS airline needs to save money, and he'll take 10% plus...
Call me a cynic.
This would be funny if it weren't true. Dead on post, man. Sad, but damn accurate.i think they found every employee with a medical mj card for the segment at the end.
"we're going to give you back the 10% we took from you while i made a fortune, only instead of giving it back to you, we'll spread it out over 3 years so by the end of 2013 you'll be making the same that you made in 2008! can't wait for bonus time, i just saved frontier a fortune!"
crowd cheers.

That gave me several eye rolls as well. I view his stint on there as notihng but free advertsing that the gullible public will believe. It does nothing for the rest of his employees except the couple of them that he gave something to. I was secretly hoping that the entire lav contents would just spill on his head, frankly. That would have cheered up more than a few employees.Exactly what I realized before the crowd even stopped cheering.
It's all for the PR. I wish that they would have put some more light onto what the pilots side of things are like. Then again...they might not be able to get anything positive out of them for the show.
I also could have done without the endless religious "stuff" that everyone kept pouring out. I don't see how that had anything at all to do with the show.

im sorry, but that guy seemed like and insincere slime ball.
Wayyyyyyyyy too much religion. I like how he gave that lady 10g's...to donate to a chairty!? I mean that's nice and all for the charity, but I'm sure the employee could have used that money.
Nah, they're getting 10% wage concessions back over the next three years...that'll keep them happy.
