Well when I interviewed I had 4000+hrs someplace like 4030 or something and 1100 hrs multi PIC. With jet and turboprop experience in the 91 world no 135 experience. ATP MEL COM SEL SES CFI CFII MEI. They really are looking at higher times versus their published mins. There are a few reasons for that. 1 because of the fallout from colgan 3407 and the FAA talking about raising the mins for 121 operations due to that crash. 2 because there are so many of us out here with thousands of hours that are on the street. I think the lowest time guy I have heard of interviewing lately is like 1800hrs or so.
