Grand Forks Job Market

Not telling someone how something works but showing them as well.

Like I already said, utilizing laptops in class.

Engaging the students in class would also be a big one, it forces people to pay attention.

Anything that detracts from a professor talking alone at the front of the room for the entire class period.

Those would be a great start and really should be the standard in the first place.

I am going to school in Minnesota in hopes of a U of M school having better structure, if not Duluth is a more fun area for me and it will ultimately be cheaper because of state grants. My career goals require a bachelors so I have to do it somewhere either way.

Even if I didn't know LM personally, I'd have lost all credibility for you at this point.

Your attitude is whats going to keep you from going far in this industry. The last 10 threads on the UND section have transformed into YOU crying over the injustices you feel have been done to you. As for the highlighted portion............:rotfl:
 
Why can't we all just admit UND sucks and move on? Word on the street is there's been some new hires at aerospace cause of sex with the right people....

Made any sweeping statements lately?

I mean, I can't stand much of ERAU and how they do business, speaking as a grad. And I don't think their flight training is any more or any less than many other places. However I'd place their academic quality as pretty darn high.

So everything has its pro and con, IMHO. To say the sweeping statement that UND just sucks, though its your opinion that you're entitled to, is kind of disingenuous.

UND was not right for me, I hated it and a lot of people are starting to not like it as well (it is not like I am the lone warrior). But, my eventual goal is not to be a commercial pilot, so I will be fine bud. Drink a beer though, get over yourself. :beer:
 
Challenger you never answered my question. Why are you going to pay tuition for nothing? And don't try to hide from the fact that you said you are going there "in hopes of" better.

I live in Wisconsin and am from MN and still should be able to retain my residency. Minnesota has way better financial aid programs and considering its the place I want to be eventually, I might as well make that change sooner rather then later.
