Traffic Violations

After 5 years from a ticket you can get it taken off of your record by calling your state office. It may differ state to state.

If you can't be trusted to wear a seatbelt, how can you be trusted with 100 pax in the back? :D

Reminds me of my check airman when I upgraded awhile back. Dude wore his shoulder harness for every single leg 100% of the time. Strapped in as if he expected to punch out any second.

End of the trip, I gotta grab a hotel one more night and he offers to drop me off at the hotel. Cool. Hop in his car...doesn't even reach for the seat belt! Takes all kinds I guess :)

Nothing ever comes completely off your records. Most airlines will get your edited record during background checks. However, the police have the full unedited version available to them.

Don't do a thing until you get an attorney. For a couple hundred bucks, a traffic attorney can get rid of just about any moving violation. Well worth the money.

Thanks for the advice man but there is no way I can pull a couple hundred bucks out of my rear end.

I thought seat belt was an "add on" violation. Is that something they can stop you for as an initial violation in your state?
I think in Mass. it's still a secondary violation. But I think it's foolish not to wear a seatbelt.

In CA and WA, it is a moving violation meaning they can pull you over for just not wearing the seatbelt. yeah... I found that out the hard way
