Why are pilots able to get a "mil-comp" test to instantly get an FAA Commercial certificate with Instrument rating, yet military trained airframe/engine mechanics aren't able to get a similar "mil-comp" for Airframe, Powerplant, or combo A&P?
For that matter, can USAF egress-maintainer or USN Aviation Survival Equipment people get a "mil comp" for FAA Parachure Rigger certificate?
