My donation will be in the mail on Monday. Such a terrible situation - but awesome to see the strong JC support for his family. Thanks for setting this up, Kristie. May all our thoughts and prayers help to ease the sorrow of the Hill family.
 
I didn't know of Ben until this tragic event took place, but I too have a family and could not imagine what might be taking place with them right now. I hope my donation will help, even if its just a little.

I am trying to get my finances in order, so I am able to donate some. What is the cutoff date??
 
I already had a paypal account, but it is with a debit card. I think paypal tries to coerce you into signing up with a checking account but I would recommend against that.
 
Heard of Ben's death from one of my students on Friday. There are no words to describe how close this hits to home. I have donate as much as I could on a CFI budget, and I ask that others on here, no matter HOW LITTLE it is, that you please donate something, ANYTHING at all will help. Wife and kids.... no more words from me...

i think (?) that you can only use a credit card (if you don't have a paypal account)

i think (?) if you want to use a debit card, you have to open a paypal account and link it

Thank you for setting up this memorial fund. I have sent my donation. I had to use a family paypal account since I do not have a US bank account available but in the remarks I wrote that it was from me.

I wish the family all the best in these difficult times. It is refreshing to see an aviation group come together to help a fallen brother. G-D speed!

Donation made. Nothing much, but what I could spare. I did not know Ben, but he seemed like a cool guy on the forums. RIP.

I used a debit card for my deposit no problem, and this is without signing into my paypal account. I was just to lazy to sign in. It may have recognized it though in there system. Also is it a Visa or MC debit card? If not that may be the problem.
 
Donated. I ran across one of Ben's posts from the day before and for a split second thought I had woken up from a nightmare. I, like so many others only knew him from his posts and avatar, but this hits so close to home. I pray his family finds peace in this trying time.
