It appears the FAA Academy is updating the class schedules, because trying to do a class date search for Terminal and En-Route Basics courses comes up with a "No class number specified" error, whereas it used to pull up all class dates.

I hope that's what it means, I'm terminal and their prelim. terminal schedule wasn't favorable until after january!

Punks are messing with our endless theorizing and speculation. Don't they know that's the only thing that keeps us going during this wait?

i did my monthly e-mail to HR.

no dice. holding pattern till the end of the month where aparrently the new FY2010 terminal schedule comes out.

Yeah thats what I keep hearing also. Oh well its already the 11th, only a few more weeks to wait... :(

Classes are now listed for FY10. Good luck on early dates.

So, there is no Terminal class in October? Also it shows that all classes only last one month. Whats up with that? they're 3 months right?

It's for basics. Basics last 1 month. Then you start the rest of your training.

I saw some guys over at SM going to D10 saying they have class dates for Sept 22. Dude I hope I can jump on that boat.

So far I've only heard of terminal people from 5/6 getting class dates (excluding Anchorage Center). Has anyone seen or heard of any enroute people getting class dates?

And utamav, what's with the no signature? ;)

EDIT: whoops. Disregard the part about Anchorage Center. It's actually A11, Anchorage TRACON (shout-out to jcpilot!).

I dropped the signature. It's a wise decision, and I'm fairly sure you know why I dropped it.;) D-bags over at SM may try to hunt me down....but after I had the beans to tell that drunk off, and after everyone slammed me (and called me prick), everyone else joined the battle against the DUI machine.....It just so happened that I was the first into that grave battle. HEH, I'll keep my signature in the record books. :) Besides, I have kept my true signature since day one, a sombrero with a cigar!

Good call. I just hope the field sobriety checkpoints nab 'em... open up a few more spots for people who are actually responsible enough to handle the job.

Well... I'm pubnat 2, only thing is I was selected for a tower that is doing minimal hiring. I'm pretty sure I was the only one selected for that specific tower. So I'd hope since I've been waiting around for so long that they'd put me in one of the soonest classes, however, I'm a bit concerned just because my facility isn't necessarily in need of new controllers. So we'll see!! ..... patients is a virtue right???

I am right there with you, I applied to Pubnat 2 as well. Was picked up in January after they contacted me about LA in December. I know of 4 others also going to the same tower. It surely is a long process for some of us. The facility is in need so hopefully a few more weeks until we find out.
