TSA Security Awareness Training

I haven't instructed in a couple of years but got a letter from the TSA that is a bit ambiguous. However, it basically says that as part of the TSA annual inspection process, we are providing you an opportunity to voluntarily submit copies of the required 49 CFR Part 1552 "Security Awareness Training Certificate" for you and your employees having direct contact with flight training candidates.

My instructor ticket is still valid but I fly regional 121 now, so I haven't instructed and don't plan to anytime soon if I can help it. Do any of you current CFI's have any knowledge of this? I'm thinking about just tossing the letter but since I'm on these forums, thought I might ask the question here.

Thanks.

You can get the ridiculous certificate just by clicking through the TSA "lesson" real fast. It isn't required unless you are actively instructing though.

I'm probably going to get my door kicked down by uniformed TSA thugs for posting that on the interwebs and endangering national securritay.

Well the best part is that the date is editable to you can backdate it if needed :p
This just keeps getting fuller and fuller of fail.
