The Official "Waiting For FOL From LA PEPC" Thread

So if we've got a TOL should we still fill out the Geo Pref.'s for PUBNAT 5&6 we got last week? I know it probably doesn't matter but I'm thinking I should complete it just in case. Anyone here anything official?

I have not called my HR because I did not want to bother them, but I will have to if I don’t hear anything by Friday because I did not to my knowledge have any issues with my clearance or anything at the PEPC, but the lack of contact is getting weird.

I'm waiting for FOL from LA PEPC. I was selected for the Deer Valley (DVT) facility in North Phoenix. My latest news from my HR guy is that DVT has met its hiring goal for 2009 and I shouldnt expect to get to OKC until after october 1. Sucks for me! Im hoping for a miracle though. I don't want to wait 6 more months. Oh, and I still havent recieved a FOL

Unless you plan on declining the position for the TOL you already have, don't bother filling out Geo Prefs for PUBNAT5 and PUBNAT6. According to my HR rep, if you are already in the process, they skip over you.
 
Is Anyone still waiting for FOL from LA PEPC? Jan 26-28. I see nobody has posted on this thread for a few days. I'm still waiting, because I got word last week that my facility reached its 09' hiring goals and there are no other facilities in the area (Phoenix) that I can be re-directed to....

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'd like to know I'm not the only one who will have to wait 18+ months from the date I applied to get to OKC.
 
Im waiting for my FOL. I was able to be redirected (not to my original area) and now i hopefully will go this summer.
 
I'm still waiting... they told me I wouldn't get a FOL until I got a class date. I have not been offered a different facility either but wouldn't want one. I was told after October.... which I hope means "OCTOBER" but it could be several months after that. At this point I'm just glad I've got it nailed down, there are alot of people on here that didn't get an offer.
 
I was told my class date was 8/20, but still have not received a FOL yet. I am slated to go to a center so I don't think its involved in the hiring freeze.
 
Im still waiting as well. I was offered to go to another airport three hours from where i live but declined. I would rather wait it out until october to work 20 minutes from my house and start making 15000 more a year.
 
yeah same here on the wait. i guess some enroute classes were cancelled so they are rolling over all of those candidates, then they will get us...so it looks like october or later for me going to ZMa :( which really sucks. my hr rep elaine said that she wont know classdates until late August!!!uugghh
 
FINALLY got word today that I am going to be medically cleared as soon as I get glasses. That means the hearing test is no longer an issue for me! Still waiting on that ever-elusive class date.. *sigh*
 
I think alot of us including me are patiently waiting for a class date or October to come along. I was told nothing till october last month (March).
 
Just got a call from R.A.! July 1st OKC Date. FOL In hand! gotta go start getting ready.... sooooooo much to do, so little time.
