Some coworkers landing in NRT

Being prepared for the opportunity when it presented itself isn't dumb luck man! :)

Lots of guys have opportunities they can't take advantage of because they haven't fully prepared themselves.

If stumbling hap-hazardly into situations is preparation, then I'm all over it. :nana2: (Don't read the Tech Talk thread though.....:buck:)

Grew up in a small town and spotted the guy spraying cotton across the road from the school. This sounds corny, but it just did something to me. I was in the third grade and never wanted to do anything else. Got the commercial and started ag flying in 78. Stayed there till the end of 04. Was tired and burned out and just needed a break. Thought retirement was going to be great, but for me it sucked because my wife and girl were gone all day to school and work.

I bought my Apache to build multi time to be insurable in something like a Baron/310. Got lucky and have a part time King Air deal right now, but we aren't flying maybe twice a month. Going back to ag work this year flying a Thrush and an Air Tractor. I really do still love it. Going to make this year then look around and see if there are any quality corp jobs that I might be able to sneak into.

Cool. I think we were all bit by the same bug. there used to be a small strip in town where I went to school. I remember a yellow cub and a few other taildraggers flying in there.

We'd better get to cutting ribs for that 314!!!

And I miss it. Don't have near the hours of row crop time that t-cart does, but it is something that really gets my heart going.

If things don't work out with this deal I am working on, can I have your seat next year? :D

Lots of input at about :53 seconds.. elevator and aileron with spoilers poppin' up. Two hands on the yoke and one semi-tight set of cheeks?:D

Doug, you said some airliners have 'crosswind gear'. Which? Certainly NOT like the BUF.
