Some coworkers landing in NRT

Nice job!

Nothing like landing 'sideways'....

Kevin

Better them than me!!!

It can land in a crab, and it's amazing how fast the nose will correct to center with the 16 mains on the ground.

No metal touching the concrete = good landing.

It was wild seeing how quick it corrected.

Kinda neat to see the wings wobble too, I guess I've never really paid attention to that before.

Thats pretty impressive to see something that big sit down and straighten up as quickly as they do.

Are they pretty responsive on the controls in flight, or are they sluggish. Sorry for the ?'s, I've just never flown anything bigger than a King Air.

Compared to the Classic, the 400 is sporty. It is pretty responsive, but it still has a lot of mass. The empty weight is about 348,000 lbs.

However, you can point it in any direction you want pretty snappy (for a transport category plane). It just takes it a minute to go there.

That's a big bird man. We're 402K, loaded and gassed-up on the ER and we're talking about "heavy"

That is just amazing to me. One more question for you guys. About how much gas do those things burn per hour. I can burn around 96-98 gal per hour with TO power.:)

3,000 gallons/hr on the 400

The classic was about 3500 gallons/hr
