PUBNAT 5- Announcement ending 7/31

It said you only need to choose one state, so I only picked NY.

I also got the email for 5 and 6, wasn't sure which one I responded to first though, too excited so I did both of them again. Is it a problem if I send in the same info twice?

Something to keep an eye out for if you're using GMAIL as your email address.

Since the email is coming from the exact same source with the same re: address, the email is going to show up on the ORIGINAL Email you get, except with a tab underneath it showing the "response" email.

Clear as mud? Good!

I do use Gmail, but don't have any tab that shows any other communications from that particular senders address. I find it a bit odd, because the time on gmail says it was received at 4:06 but then when you open it, it says 2:11. Not too sure what's going on. I guess if i don't see it by monday, I will give them a call.

Yea! Geo Prefs! Finally! I received mine back to back. I put Texas and Louisiana for both responses. In the comment box it said for CA, TX, and some other states to list their preferred counties they are willing to work.....So do they really read those or not? From what I have read from earlier and other forums they don't really read the comment boxes. Any thoughts on that?

So here is to another round of waiting...whoo hoo.:bandit:

Unless you pick a state that was listed under the comment box I don't think they will read it. After all it didn't say type 'open to the U.S.' it asked fort the counties in that state that you would want to work at

The emails should not come over the weekend unless they are stuck in cyberspace. It should come within the next few days starting on Monday.

When I received my preferences I put ca as 1 and in the comment box I put socal and was givin a local in san diego county so I do think they look at the comment box

Oh, you give me hope. I picked CA Terminal and that was it. I picked some south counties and some north. Basically major cities. I am just hoping there is an opening.

By the way, does anyone knows if it is true what I read: that if you have a higher score you will likely get picked for Terminal?

What's crazy is that we waited months to get to this step, and we had so long to think about it that we can fill out the form in like two seconds. But now we're going to have to wait another maybe two or three months before the next step. It's like they're playing some cruel and sadistic mind game on us! :banghead:

I may have mentioned it before, but I think this is part of the screening process ;) See who goes insane first and then cut them out of the running. Or, just see who sticks around waiting forever and then reward them with jobs....but who knows?

The training process functions similarly.
What do you mean similarly?
You have to wait after training as well? :panic:
If so, it makes me wonder if this whole process worth it. Because you sure don't get paid well for all this waiting and the job itself.

See the 2 tabs, right one underneath eachother?

Haha...no...I mean that in training they push you until you are going mad...and then back off. And then do it all over again. At least that's how it used to be! Word on the street is it's a cake walk now.

So don't give up because it gets harder every day. It will get easier. And then harder again.
