PUBNAT 5- Announcement ending 7/31

Weird I just one mine but it was for Pubnat 6 (I apllied to both P5+6), even though I was authorized to take the ATSAT for Pubnat 5. Anyone else get that?

For the locations I put New York as the first and left the second open
 
So since I live in pa Im gonna put that as one of my choices and I was thinking either AZ or NV as my second, AZ seems to have more facilities so would i have a better shot with that choice? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've been debating that myself. I'm thinking that since you scored so high, you might go with what you want, since you'll get a first look probably no matter how many jobs there are.

But I did exactly the same thing. CO and WA since they both have major airports and en route centers.

I got the email too... Heart skipped a beat, I thought it would say clearances are in (or better a class date).
Dang.
Filled it out and after submission it said

I got the 6 but not the 5, hopefully it's just a server issued. I definately took the test with my pubnat 5 authorization. I'm sure it's just something with the e-mail system.

Something to keep an eye out for if you're using GMAIL as your email address.

Since the email is coming from the exact same source with the same re: address, the email is going to show up on the ORIGINAL Email you get, except with a tab underneath it showing the "response" email.

Clear as mud? Good!
 
Might be a stupid question but I will ask it anyways...Is a TRACON facility considered terminal or enroute? They say "center" when refering to enroute but not TRACON.
 
My first thought when I saw I had received the email was, "Will there be only three, or could there even be four pages of people saying 'Woo, I got my geo prefs email!' by now on JetCareers?"
 
Does anyone know the states that are most in need right now? I will gladly put down a no name brand state like Idaho and Wyoming if it means getting an invite.

But first, Puerto Rico! I hope it's an option. I'm ecstatic. I thought all hope was lost and then I receive two invites...wow.
 
Wow, I really didnt think that I was gonna get the geo pref. Scored an 84.7, but got the notice today! This is awesome news b/c im getting furloughed from my airline in may. Ahhhhhhh...now I wait again....:laff:
 
Every score above 70 gets this email. It's the next round of emails that some will get, and some won't (PEPC invites)
 
what happens when you start going through the process for pubnat 5, when you currently have a tol and waiting for an fol from pubnat 2???

If you have a TOL from 2 you will not receive consideration under any other announcement unless you decline the TOL before panels meet. You will get the geo pref email but you will not be selected at panels if they see you have another offer in the computer...
