If the IT staff is like the ones I have worked with in the past, every one of them probably has Firefox or Opera installed on their work PCs. I use IE with our Oracle web portal here at work, because it and Firefox don't play nice, but for all of my general browsing and other work related stuff, I use Firefox.

1. Two different departments schedule the PEPC and Academy dates.
2. It doesn't hurt to attend an early PEPC in order to get your name on the list for the Academy sooner.
