credit can be an issue....

But the guy at the KC pepc told us that once we were selected for the facility....that we were no longer competing for a job. It was ours to lose.
So...avoid doing something crazy from here on out.....like celebrating and getting a DUI...

What do you mean...can be? Do they check your score or what? I have good credit. Not sure I am worried about that.

I will tell you what they told us..DO NOT LIE ABOUT ANYTHING.. They will find out and it will bite you in the ass..They are willing to work with you on things, but if you lie and they find out...

As far as your credit...probably not so much the credit score in itself..but other things in your credit report that may be a red flag. Many employers do a credit check on you. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I know somewhere in my pepc paperwork.....maybe the eqip... i was asked if I had any outstanding debt over 180 days.... It can be an issue...if you show that you can not be trusted.

But yeah.....always be honest.

I'm with you on the emails out west. I was passed up on PUBNAT's 1 and 2. I even had a veteran ATC friend of mine contact the FAA x times and write a letter of recommendation during the PUBNAT 2 selections - still have not heard anything. Didn't apply to 3 but did apply to 4, 5 and 6.

Just letting those of you who may be in a similar situation as me - I'm with you!

Debt over 180 days...as in people don't pay their bills and are 180 days late?
 
I was one of the few that was leaked information from the careers line last week. There were a couple of people there that were telling those that called where they were selected for until their superiors told the to cease and desist.
 
Congrats to all with emails!!! I am crossing my fingers, when I called they said I was not on the list that was a huge disapointment. We'll see if I get an email. no enroute yet right? Noone from south yet right? any speculation on PEPC location?
 
Everytime I see you post I ask myself which one in the picture is you... anyways... I saw someone post the invite email and it said Jamaica, NY 23rd Feb, Chicago (I think) 23rd March and Los Angeles 23 April...

You are correct. There will possibly be a PEPC in KC in May as well.

louisiana's e-mails went out.
 
Yeah but LA was a special case with the separate emails that went out to everyone from PUBNAT2. So I am not counting them in this instance.

Were you talking about me I'm the male in my picture. The female is my wife. I assume you were talking to me because my post was right before, I changed my avatar if it helps. Man that's a quick PEPC I sure hope I get an email and I hope I go to NY on the 23rd. That would totally rock :rawk:. D day is tomorrow and I so hope I get an invite.
