Are you sure this is right? I spoke with someone who was selected for Salt Lake City Center from PUBNAT2 and they said they were still in need of people. I'm trying to get someone to verify this, but I've gotten "you have to wait the 2-6 weeks to got that information" I know they have it, I will keep trying.

9 AM Eastern time is 8 AM Central time. I called them the minute they opened.

I think maybe I got the new guy on the phone that people have mentioned on some threads and it was early so Pam wasn't there to tell him to give out a generic statement about emails, so he just answered my question.

They have up to 60 days to notify you. I would expect to see emails go out within a 2 week period. They have selected who they want, now it's just the logistics of creating emails and such. Thus, expect the amount of time that they needed to put the everything together for the Referral list as an example for this selection email.

I have a feeling that this thread is about to be packed with excitement soon!:rawk:
 
keep calling, i called the number on asap page and they said i wasnt selected for pubnat4. i talked to vanessa and she was helpful.
 
Just called and had Pam tell me that e-mails should go out in 2-4 weeks so the end of next week should be the earliest that we will start seeing e-mails. Looks like some of you are luckier than I am.

As soon as I called aviations careers and asked that If i give her my social would she be able to tell me if I got selected by a facility. She said "There are double offers and they are trying to fix them so that we can get our info by the end of next week". Then she asked me what states I had applied for and I mentioned Texas-Georgia. She said" She only works on the West coast and only has that info. I asked about preference since I picked Texas first would that be a guarentee she said" No but we try to give you your first choice but sometimes thats not the case for instance we did not pick any one for LA, SEA and Salt Lake because the facilities are full.

I dont know if that means all Enroute all Terminal and all ARTCC????????

I got the same generic statement as you did but Chris was the one who said it. He did say to "expect" a phone call/email though, so I have not lost all hope, I'm just back at square one, waiting....:banghead: Dangit Honu! Congrats though...

What do you mean "you haven't been selected"? As in you weren't on the referral list? Or after you were on the referral list they didn't pick you?
 
As in I put in for HI and CO and she told me that they already have 10 appointees and I wasn't one of them. Everyone makes the referral list if you passed the test.

Well I had a different issue and she transferred me to vanessa who then searched for my name and told me the grim news.

I just got a call back from the woman who is supposedly in charge of my region, she said they don't have all of the information yet and that it will be sorted out in the next couple of weeks. She did say that over 800 people were selected though...

Around 700 of those 800+ were terminal selections throughout the nation.
 
Ok so I called and spoke to some guy named Matt and he was able to tell me if I was selected or not, and of course I wasn't so now I get to wait til 7 which he says he thinks may be in the summer. My previous pepc was in august last year so hopefully it's early summer because all that @#$% paperwork is good for a year.
 
Does anybody else keep getting Dina or Dena when they call? She's keeping a tight lip on info, so avoid her if you can. I guess next time I'll just ask for Vanessa. :banghead:
