I can say, it is a good idea to visit the facility you want to go to and request to be "captured" for that facility.
Dang, wish I had known you could actually do that! I knew you could visit the site, but didn't know anything about being "captured"! Ahh well....
Hrmmmm i'm not sure how well that would work.
It's up to the hiring panel, and USUALLY doesnt consist of your facilities reps. From what i've been told.
This is true. However, even though they (facility reps) aren't at the hiring panel, they can make a request to their managers to have you "captured". You have a great chance that someone who knows someone will put in a word for you. This is certainly a better approach than just hoping you get selected.
So that's what the ATM meant when he said he's gonna pull some strings for me to go to a certain facility? I just smiled and said thanks, thinking that he just said that to make me feel better!
Funny; the ATM in Nashville said no lists had been sent to them yet...
That may pry more information out of him.Did you tell them you personally know Colonel Sanders?

Did you tell them you personally know Colonel Sanders?
I talked with a controller working STL tower. He says they have 6 trainees and more on the way. So they are pretty much full. And they don't have an ATM anymore. It's some guy from Springfield, IL running the place.I love St. Louis. I thought Lambert was staffed.
The below charts were made from information gleamed from the stuckmic community. It was initially intended for personal use, but then I decided to share for those who might appreciate it. If any of you have information that I can use to correctly and accurately update this chart, I would be happy to receive it!!!! I know some people had to wait longer than reflected. This is because I tried to show the soonest dates each event would occur. The day the FAA hiring process is an exact science will be the day we can put together an exact model of the hiring timeline, until then all we have is a very general idea. Again any input or corrections to the below information would be appreciated.
