Called...spoke with a young lady on the phone...gave her my name..told me she didn't see anything but It could take up to 6 weeks to receive an E-mail... meh..


So When's the first announcement for 2009? Lol
 
I didn't get selected for pubnat 3 or 4 they said. disapointing but congratulations to all who made it I missed app 5 but did 6.

Now that the cat's out of the bag with some folks getting their information before official e-mails went out, they're probably going into lock-down mode for the inevitable deluge of phone calls that they're going to get from all the PUBNAT3ers and 4ers.
 
I called this morning and the lady said to wait for an e-mail. They probably got sick of people calling. Although I bet it really depends on who you talk to. Oh well, I've waited this long, I can wait another week or more if i have to.

I think it was Dina or Debbie that I talked to. Can't remember for sure.
 
I just called aviation careers and the lady told me that they only have the information for the west coast not central united states or the east coast just yet but, will have them by the end of next week. I asked about do we usually get our first choice of facillity. She said they try there best. She also said that this time they did not hire anyone for LA, SEA or Salt Lake city because the facillities are full.

That's a bummer, considering I put UT and WA as my Geo Prefs. Hopefully, the towers in those states are hiring. Good thing I kept Alaska on as a contingency.

I was assigned to a center on the east side of central and I heard at 9AM when I called.
 
So after calling and cordially asking if there was any word, this nice gal mentioned that there was going to be up to a 60 day wait. If I was selected, and if not selected then indefinite wait.
 
Thats what I dont understand! They tells us one thing when in fact its another thing. But she also told me that there are double offers (sine pubnat3 and pubnat 4 were done at the same time) and they have to go in the system and correct them. So she told wait until the end of next week. Im not suprised I work for the government now and thats the way it is.:confused:
 
Perhaps we should get HonuPineapple to call on our behalf. He seems to have had better luck getting some good info out of them.

I just called frist thing in the morning, at 9 AM Eastern. I think I got them exactly as they opened, so maybe you guys could try calling at that time tomorrow? I did not recognize the voice of the man who answered, maybe there is a different person on the phone that early? I don't know. Just lucky!

You called right before lunch. They're on Central time (OKC!).
