Right, but who is "they"? "They" often provide horribly inaccurate information which gets circulated around here. Even people on the other end of the line in OKC are wrong more often than they're right...

...so I'm generally skeptical of information concerning dates around here. Nothing personal, of course, it's just what experience has shown over the past several months.
 
I agree that everybody has ideas on when the panel will meet and whether PUBNAT3 and PUBNAT4 is together or separate. However, I can confirm that PUBNAT3 and PUBNAT4 will be together on Jan 12th.

January 12th is the date that almost everyone has been given, but some people have been told that 3 & 4 will be combined and others have been told that they won't be. Can I ask how you're able to confirm that they're combined? Where did your information come from?

Trust me... I'd love it if they're combined, but I'm just curious...

Again... don't take this personally... but hearing from somebody who I don't know online that they "confirm" that the groups'll be together at any specific date doesn't hold a lot of water for me, given how much misinformation flies around among ATC applicants. In the same way that I wouldn't expect you to have full confidence in something I said without some sort of verifiable evidence behind it.

With that said, if they go down just like you said, you win all sorts of credibility points, and I'll be the first to post up "He told us so." And, if you can explain why you've been plugging that date, I'm all ears. Er, eyes. Reliable information can be hard to come by.
 
I totally understand your skepticism. I don't take your lack of confidence personally. Let us just wait it out and see what happens. I think we can all agree that since PUBNAT3 received their Geo Prefs, PUBNAT4 is one step closer.
 
Pubnat3's e-mail said that they had a suspense date of dec. 9th. that still leaves ample time for more e-mails to go out. they could be throwing e-mails at pub3 first to weed out the guys who already have a tol or dont want to do it anymore to see how many e-mails theyre gonna throw at us.

or at least thats my hopeful thinking.

For those of y'all who've been talking about a combined panel for PUBNAT3 and PUBNAT4, if you'd indulge me, cite your source. I've been having an ongoing discussion with someone at... ah, another web site... and he keeps insisting that he knows they'll be combined, but refuses to provide any evidence other than he's heard it repeated around the forums. Since that kind of thing seems endemic to ATC applicants -- and is a frequent source of bad information -- I want to know if anybody has actually heard it from someone authoritative

Did Ammolite give you enough sources? My source is none of the people they listed, but it's good to know others agree of the combination.

if that was infact from "the other" forum, i wouldnt take it personally. several people have asked about your sources in several different ways but you've yet to back up your statement with any hard sources.

in other words, TELL MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE:panic:

NO ONE post in this thread until something actually changes. I mean until we get Geo emails or something!

It's driving me crazy to see this thread KEEP going on useless bickering (sorry). The suspense KILLS me when i see theres a new post in PUBNAT4 and i'm expecting something to change, but it's NOT happening. For the sake of my heart and psyche please for the LOVE of god please stop posting!!!!

I agree. Let's get off the whole PUBNAT3 and PUBNAT 4 combination thing. Whatever happens, I look forward to hopefully meeting some of you in OKC. (Sooner than later):nana2:
