PUBNAT3

has anyone considered making pubnat3 and pubnat4 a joining forum since its obvious that we will be in the same panel??? just a suggestion

I doubt it considering that from what I have heard pubnat 4 have not even recieved their info on what their test scores are so i hihgly doubt they will even truely combine us we had rumors of being combined with 2 and it never happened

ps. anyone who has been to a PEPC did they give you a stick to cover your eye or did you use your hand for the visual test was it threw a projector or just an eye chart they have on the wall I got my new perscribtion for contacts last friday and go friday to get fitted for contacts so I can pass this damn eye test.

maybe well get our Geo Prefs on Nov 2nd, does anyone know what Obamas feeling is on the FAA ATCC union and our pay? or even Mccains view point on it? I know in general republicans want to lower their pay and Dems want to raise it but some candidates are different. I remember when Clinton was in office was like highest ATCC got paid and when Bush came in 30% decrease or something but idk just looking for a little insight I'm personally voting Obama either way just curious Obama has voted whatever the Dems say to pretty much whole time anyways.

But back then, the rumors only came from internet folk (and they admitted it was speculation) -- this time, we've confirmed this directly from multiple sources from HR.

I'm new to this application process, and had a few questions.

Ok, so I applied to PUBNAT2, and then PUBNAT3, not really knowing I was applying to both, I thought I had just applied to PUBNAT2. Anyway, I got on the referral list for PUBNAT2, but never got a PEPC invite.

I already took the AT-SAT and scored "qualified", but do I have to do anything else to get an email for PUBNAT3? Or, since I applied, do I just wait all over again for an email, or at least, hope for an email?

Is their some type of seniority for people who have applied to multiple PUBNATS? for example, I applied to PUBNAT2, didn't get picked, so am I higher up than other people that just applied to PUBNAT3?

Each application is completely separate from the previous ones. In fact, the people doing the next one will probably not even know you've previously applied. I've already accepted a TOL for SEA with pubnat1 and I still got an offer under pubnat2. They sent me forms with that one to fill out that I'd already sent in with pubnat1.They're just way too busy to check everyone's status.
 
I was flying the other day and overheard this gem between a moron and the tower.

Pilot: (blah blah blah he's clearly lost)
Controller: Don't make me get my radar out.
Pilot: (blah blah blah he's a real idiot)
Controller: *sigh* See, now I had to get my radar.

I'm holding out for early Nov. geo prefs...which would be sometime next week (hopefully). If they didn't lie this time (which I'm still not sure of), then our panels are early Jan, so we would have to get emails soon....
 
Blah. I've been away from these forums for a week now, so I was hoping to see something new when I came back... but looks like all that happened was Ammolite getting banned again.

Since complaining about the wait is getting sort of cliche... uh... anybody ever seen that part of Scanners where the guy's head explodes? Whoa.

Has anyone heard anything? ANYTHING? Have we even given up on all the random speculation? I think we will have those letters by thanksgiving. Maybe PEPC by Easter. OKC in the summer.
