I’ll call dispatch to get a new release....

At the old job I had a dispatcher accidentally put the "planned pax" section on the release to 0. Took me a couple minutes to figure out why ACARS was so pissed off.

The sad part was I think they put like 2 when they re-ran it and I had to call them again

It’s FT Worth ATC center.

All the ARTCC’s have their identifier start with Z. ZFW, ZNY, ZME etc.

Yup, pretending Fort Worth isn't anything other than second-fiddle is like saying it's the Twin Cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, instead of the other way around.

(though, honestly, StP is, in my view, a cooler city anyway)

It's interesting, the M in SP and the D in FW...

Yet for some reason they don't call it Dallas Center and we don't call it St Paul Center, hehe.

A good point indeed. Though I wish they’d call it Elgin Approach and Aurora Center because both of those just sound cooler.

Also the center is physically located within the boundaries of ft worth in the same way as AAL HQ is as well even though we're next to DFW. Some sort of weird land deal when they built the airport I believe. Most of the centers are nowhere near their namesake city though.
