Geez he's kinda low for that!

That is the first Russian plane I've seen with winglets.

Are we looking at the same picture? Do you not see the words Tupolev (in Russian) 334 written along the side and tail? If ya still think its an F-100, I'll bet you can't find a picture of a F-100 with winglets on em . The only thing similar about them is that they both seat about 100 people.

Looks photoshopped to me...

The shadow isn't quite right, and it looks awfully small compared to how close the crowd is behind it...

Could be a model RC plane...

Where you been...Kingairer is more sarcastic in nature on this board then I am. Take most of his post as such unless he spitting out obvious aviation data!

In other words he is "joshin" ya. He knows thats not a F100.

The photo was apparently taken at the MAKS 2005 airshow (Russian). Here is a link to the photog's site: MAKS 2005

This photo from a.net looks pretty similar, giving credence to the authenticity of the original photo: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/928646/L/

A google search turns up a couple of other similar photos as well.

Thats an F100, everyone knows that.

Quit taking advantage of the less-knowledgable JC'ers... It's clearly a Northwest DC9 sporting a new paint job and experimental winglets... Geez
