Youngest crew?

Looking at it that way I'm glad I can't get into Regionals until I'm in my mid to late 20's. If I had to work 36 years until retirement that would suck. Even if I got in at age 30; 30-35 more years.

At CHQ back in Oct I flew with a 24 yr old captain and a 20 yr old FA. I had just turned 23.....67 combined

I get probably one comment a day from a gate agent or passenger about how young I look. I got an ego boost this last trip since we had all these spring breakers on our flights, and our F/A said girls kept saying stuff about the "cute pilots." Me, 23, and captain, 27. He was a captain at 23 at XJT!

I bet you have been having a lot of hot girls on the flights lately..where have the big routes been for spring breakers chicaga?

Biggest was CMH. Had half a plane full of Ohio State girls coming from Acapulco.

But then it was balanced out by our DAB flight, where we had a bunch of Riddle students. Our F/A calls up and goes "We have a bunch of Riddle kids back here." My captain asks how he knows, and he goes "what do you think, they all told me they were pilots like three times."

Well, hopefully I'll be amongst all you young pilots... I'm a 19 y/o CFII with over 500TT.... hopefully by the end of the year I'll be an FO for someone, Scenic Airlines is right next door to where I work, so hopefully I'm a shoe-in there... the problem with my age is that I won't be able to upgrade until 23... eh, whatever... it'll give me time to concentrate on my degree

WOW, it's been so long since i've actually posted on here i'm surprised my screen name worked!

Let's see......

I was 19 when I got chekced out in the C-208B

Just past my 20th when I got typed in the Shorts(part 135), long before I could get an ATP. Took a bit of expalining to do the first time I got ramped.

A week after my 23rd when I got typed on the Convair 240(piston), and two months later when I got typed on the CV-580(turbine)

24 made my a part 121 supplemental Check Airman on the CV-580, then a Base Chief Pilot flying overseas.

Now at 25 i'm a 727 F/O who should make Captain before my 27th(just hang in there good ol' economy)

And in the process of all this madness I managed to get married and have a kid! What a crazy last few years!

Seems N9103M is catching up to me though ;-) I'm glad I won't be the youngest guy in the company anymore!!
