how many of yall on here male or felmale are like me young trying to persue the aviation carrer im 18 just got instement rated and wonder how many more young pilots there are relly out there?

Well i am young. I'm 16 about to turn 17. I am waiting to do my training until after college. So that i stay fresh. But i am starting to read aviation books so that i can get more familiar with it, and so that i can understand half of what everyone is saying around here.

Yea I've been thinking about doing that. My grandpa has offered to help pay for ATP if i decide to go there or wherever else i decide i want to go.

Great to hear that you're flying and making progress. Now you just need to learn to spell and use punctuation.

I'm 19, working on the instrument rating and hopefully commercial in 2010, but money's an issue.

I have heard a lot of bad things about ATP

Like i said im not sure where i want to get my training done. I will probably end up getting my private this summer, then i'm not exactly sure what i want to do.
