There was some fool doing that into FNT the other day. Was about 2 feet above the approach lights the entire time on final. I was waiting to watch his gear come off the Mooney at the last set of lights.

I'm guessing you become a member if you can get the airplane off the runway by taxiway Kilo.
If I remember correctly from my one flight in there, it is 100 feet or so from the threshold to Kilo. I might have to give this a try someday.

I take my hat off to you - that is an accomplishment. I have come VERY close, stopped just (literally just) passed it!!
For you who do not know about club Kilo
As start you land on 19L and taxi off at Kilo. Normal take off are at intersection Kilo - so the thought of saying 'Cessna 95412 clear of Runway 19L at Kilo, dove street parking' just makes SNAers smile.
I played games like this (and how high you can come in over the fence) going into SNA many times. I scared myself once, and never did it again. Be careful guys!!

No its not displaced at all. It's a runway thats only 7000' long so in the 172 you gotta be careful or you will run out real quick! From what I have seen before people doing what look to be short field landings tend to touchdown right after the numbers which are after the piano keys which are after the point where this guy planted it.
I wonder if the guys flying this thing see my picture? hehe.

No its not displaced at all. It's a runway thats only 7000' long so in the 172 you gotta be careful or you will run out real quick! Awesome shot Tim, not that you dont know that. You know we'd looove something like that over on jetphotos.net as well ;-). I just checked and we dont have a single picture from Centennial over there. You could have a monopoly ;-). Once again, great pictures, keep up the good work.

Arrrghh, Jetphotos. I would love to put some stuff over there but I just can't stand all the popups they do. It is just too much for me, nearly kills my computer it seems.

I agree about the popups when using IE, but if that's all that is stopping you then I would reccomend getting Netscape. That is what I use and I haven't had a single popup on there since I started using it. It has a built in popup stopper and it works perfectly. Come to think of it I dont think I've had a popup anywhere since I started using it.
