Crazy how things work out. Was offered a gig today flying for OpenAir out of GAI today on their Flight Training side. I'm about 350 hours from 135 mins and hope to transfer to that side once I get there. I got about a 50% increase in my hourly rate so I just need to get students in those doors.

I want to thank you all for all the support I received when fired from my other job. It was unbelievable.

Couple people I want to thank personally though:

CRJDriver: This dude has been getting people jobs on this website like crazy. He got me this job posting off FindaPilot in literally 5 mins and he doesn't even have an account on there. I say it again will someone walk this dudes resume in somewhere and make it happen.

Mini: for the great advice on the whole unemployment deal. I'm still planning on collecting until the job picks up. Of course following all their rules.

MSHunter: for pounding the pavement for me looking for jobs in rainy and miserable SoCal. :)

And of course Doug/Kristie...thx dudes don't even need to explain myself on this one.

All others I missed or forgot thx.

Yep...they just merged w/ the other school on the field.

Not a problem James. Glad to hear you are employed now.
 
Congrats man!

Definitely encouraging to see the job announcements start to trickle in. Hopefully I'll have one to add before too terribly long.
