So I got my FOL and it says the following: "I understand that, up to the CPC level, promotions are based upon satisfactory completion of training prerequisites and regulatory requirements and are made without competition. Continued employment as an air traffic controller is contingent upon satisfactory progression to the CPC level and thereafter by manintaining necessary raitnings and certificates. After reaching the CPC level, any subsequent pay treatments will be based on overall performance, as compared to other employees." I am a little fuzzy about that last part. After reaching CPC are their yearly increases? If so what are they and how does that work. Are they like 3% every year? Cost of living increases? From what it sounds like the increases are merrit based. Any light you can shed on this matter would be helpful. Thanks.
