Keep in mind the following:
There is no longevity increase in pay. Year 1 = Year 12
Last I heard upgrade is merit based.
"home based" with 16 on, 14 off.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • FAA First Class Medical
  • ATP rated or Commercial rated with ATP written complete
  • Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Permit
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport
  • Impeccable safety record
  • A strong work ethic and excellent team member
  • Excellent Crew Resource Management skills

Competitive SIC applicants should have the following minimum experience:
  • 2000 Total Time
  • 500 PIC
  • 500 MEL
  • 150 Instrument
  • 100 Turbine

I've heard the home basing is going away to a different system... Certain gateway airports or something. I've heard it's a good place, but 16 days on? Just shoot me.
 
If you live in Alaska or Hawaii they put you on the 15/13 schedule, right?

Could you choose to live in Europe and still have them buy your airline tickets? The distance is roughly the same.
 
I just applied. I am just below total time but I have prior corporate experience and have an ATP and all of the other minimum and competitive minimums. Hopefully something works out.

What are the new changes to the bases?
 
Well I guess I tried to apply but the form returned an error. Does anyone know how to submit a cover letter and application another way?
 
Unless there is a pilot there who you have flown with that will vouch for you it doesn't matter if the application software works or not.

And it can't be a "buddy I've flown with." You have to have actually worked with them in a professional capacity. Him/Her being your CFI/Student won't cut it either.

I have more than one friend their. And unfortunately, I haven't worked with any of them.
