Whisky is from the USA. Whiskey is from Britania/Ireland. Bourbon is the only proper spelling however. I occasionally make an exception for rye.

Well don't I feel like an ass? I guess I knew it was one way or the other. Too much whiskEy last night. Somehow the bottle of bulleit rye disappeared.
