Xjet to fly 22 airplanes for UAL

The deal for all 22 planes can be extended up to a maximum period of 5 years. But I wouldn't count on that.

11 aircraft are signed for 3 years and the next 11 are for 2 years. That equals a total of 22 aircraft operating simultaneously(sp?) for at least 2 years.

In addition, there are 10 more aircraft on a Temp agreement from May 2010 - October 2010, so that will be 32 aircraft fying concurrently for UAL beginning in May. That temp agreement is basically an extention of our current temp agreement with them from Dec. 2009 - April 2010.

Is Express Jet opening any new domiciles? I know you start service out of DEN on Dec 12, if not earlier.

Nothing announced yet, we're starting in DEC using our current domiciles and IAH/CLE crews to fly those trips. (EWR-redheaded stepchild).

Keep in mind DEC will still be a fairly light month, with just a few planes worth of flying.

Further down the road when things are going full tilt one would think we could have additional domiciles, the logical ones being IAD/ORD/DEN.
