Wasn’t a controlled det, just randomly went off. Supposedly a plane was taking the runway for departure when it happened but it isn’t captured on the video.

There's an area in France the size of Paris that's still "no mans land" from both wars. I think they're trying to clean it up but the amount of human remains, unexploded bombs and chemical weapons has made reclaiming it very difficult. Hundreds of square miles that no one is allowed to enter, no farms, no houses. It's just a wasteland and it should be a reminder about how nasty a real war is.
