Writtens...how long??

I know it's pretty much a cummulative effort through all of your ground school, but I was wonder how long you actually bared down and studied before your writtens. If I remember correctly I really bared down for about 2 weeks studying for my ppl...looks like it is going to be much longer for my instrument!

If you have a current Gleim book, you can do it in one nite. 2 weeks will be plenty and is probably about right, Take a couple of chapters each nite.

Exactly, although the Gleim is alot better...

That's just my opinion, though. Kinda like "Do you like baths or showers?"

Ha I see, that seems to be the leader around here though...maybe I should go with them next time. Although as long as I keep scoring high, maybe I should just stay with what works!

I think you should start studying about 7 days before you take it, and the last two days spend several hours each day. This way, it's very fresh in your memory. All you've got to do for these things is memorize questions and answers. The actual learning gets done in the airplane, or at least with an instructor. Not from a bunch of government generated questions.
