Wrist

I bunged up my wrist a few months ago and it is still bothering me a little bit. I have full movement, grip strength etc., but when I bend the wrist 90 degrees and try and do a pushup there is pain. I finally scheduled an appointment with an orthopedic hand doctor to get xrays done. I am not the doctor type, I have never broken a bone and haven't been to a doctor in years. How will this affect my medical? Am I required to report this immediately or on my next medical. I have been doing everything normal, flying going to work and none of my abilities are affected. I also want to be sure there is no permanent damage. I have not been able to do any weight lifting in a while now and I am really itching to get back into it. I am sick of the treadmill.

How will this affect my FAA medical? I guess I am one of those scared of what the doctor might tell me guys.

Thanks

Jason

Also my medical is due in feb so I was thinking of getting my medical done before seeing the doctor. Am I 100% out of the game if I have a cast on my wrist? It happened snowboarding, non work related.

It is temporary so it will not DQ you. If you cannot safely operate an aircraft, you should not fly.

It should be reported on your next medical.
