Because of United's condition. CapeAir seems to be doing better financially than United. Less for me to have to deal with. Besides, I would enjoy more seeing CapeAir grow.

BTW, CapeAir ticket prices are crazy. From Ft. Lauderdale to Key West it is more than $1000.

Well, they lie.

What kind of airline? Where is it going to be based? What kind of flying are you going to do? Where will you be flying to and from? What kind of equipment do you plan on using?

Dude, if you want to ask a question, can you make it one that's not ridiculous? Now maybe tomorrow morning when I am sober, I will say, uh, Tony, you were a little harsh on the kid.

So be it, I'm not sober now.

Here's a hint, by the way. If you've got the capital to start up or buy an airline, stop wasting your time here. Go and enjoy that money.
 
The advantage of buying an airline is all the legal work, and certs are all taken care off - many airlines are bought for these and then an airline is established around this base.
 
I'm not quite sure what your goals are, but I would imagine that at this point in time, the last thing we need right now is another airline. Independence Air, for instance, was a disaster from the beginning. Everyone and their mother is out there trying to start-up.

You could always start up a little sight-seeing company though. Then who knows, work your way to charters.

It would be cheaper to just go to Vegas and have a really big blow-out weekend. Much cheaper with much greater chance for profits.
 
If you have that kind of dough you could just start up a "Bunny Ranch" of your own out there. It would be much more profitable than an airline!
