As Boeing lines up some short-term 777 sales incentives in a bid to keep the assembly line running at full rate through transition to production of its 777X successor in 2018, we survey today’s biggest operators of Seattle’s twin-aisle flagship. Data from the Flightglobal Ascend Fleets database, pictures from AirTeam Images.

Wow, I didn't know 'Murican had that many. Before all the mega mergers they were the biggest airline in the world, yet id hardly ever see them anywhere.

I don't know how many DL has in their fleet, but I'm surprised DL didn't make this list. Most of the above liveries looks great on the 777, but IMHO, nothing beats the EVA 777-300ER livery below! The image is 5 years old so you will have to excuse the quality and lack of sun in Taipei as I was a very amateur photographer back then with a kit lens.

I want to say either Delta or EVA, but EVA only has -300's if I remember. But I can recall reading about it.

United has some of the oldest 777s I have ever seen. I wonder if they still have the CRT monitors in them. I have been in some UA 757s in the last year with CRTs hanging in the aisle. They still work too!

United has no 200LR's, I *think* Delta is the only US airline with LR's. At UA they only have 200's and 200ER's I believe.

They were the launch customer, got the first few in 1994 and put them into service in 95 to replace the DC-10s.
