Wow, doesn't get much worse than being stuck in freaking Angola.

Not only are they stuck there but they have been kick out of their hotel and their security detail has left them.

Hopefully they're at the embassy. Otherwise, I'd be headed to the market to get an old AK 47, driving to Kinshasha, and getting a flight to Lagos or some other nicer African city. Must be scary being in a country where in one hour you make more than the average citizen makes in a year.

Are you crazy Nigeria's not safe. Somebody on another web site suggested they should sell their MD-11 for plane tickets.

I'd rather be in Lagos than Kinshasa or the like... The key would be getting to a friendly embassy, however. Interesting "what-if" scenario though... Being stuck in Angola with nothing, and the embassies are closed...

The thing I'm most curious about is who's going to pick up the plane.

Why don't they just fly it out anyway?!?!?!

Don't know I've never been on strike. Don would be the best person to ask since he's been on strike before I also believe Doug was part of a strike may be one of them can answer the question.

At least in Nigeria, you can say, "I am friend of Ojisepe!"

LOL...*Ojosipe* Good one Doug! :)

And only if your in the west my family is Yoruba the second largest tribe in Nigeria. The Ebu are the largest tribe..and naturally they hate the Yoruba.

Oddly enough Chris my family is in tribes in and near Lagos, Abuja all the way up to Jos.

No kidding. My father use to fly cargo to Nigeria. When I asked him about it he said you fly there, go from plane to hotel, hotel to plane, fly out. That was it because it was so dangerous. This was circa late 80's.
