the contract instructors at OKC were switched over officially last week. None were WCG they were previously OU employees. Two companies got the contract for OKC, Raytheon and IGS(?ISG?) All of the same instructors are still working with my class and there have been no shortages. I did hear that the Raytheon people were not allowed overtime anymore

so it's just another rumor. thanks for clearing it up. i was worried about my class date getting pushed back

and to correct to what I said earlier, Raytheon employees can still work overtime they just make straight pay no time and half like they previously got. This may lead to some instructors choosing not to take extra shifts but I talked to an instructor today who was basically like I get to run this scenario 14 times today so I photocopied all of the callsigns so I don't have to write them as they call in but its a piece of cake compared to filing accident reports and dealing with contract tower paperwork

word I heard is over 5 buck paycut/ hour...more like 7-8/hour paycut.

Actually they don't get straight time for overtime either. They're salaried now, so they have to work overtime with no additional pay whatsoever.
