WooHoo!!!

I was reviewing the forums and totally forgot that Purdue has a large program which many pilots I know went through.

Sorry for the delay!

Cool!

I graduated from the Aviation Maintenance Technology program at Purdue in 1992.

I had my private license, but at the time, no airlines were hiring anyone with vision worse than 20/100. I thought engineering and maintenance stuff would be fun too.

Now, I've been at FlightSafety since October, and my commercial checkride will be in the next day or so. Wish me luck!

Then I'll be heading up to Indiana for a few weeks to see the birth of my 3rd child.
I'm actually planning to be on the campus at least one day, and/or in the Wolcott area visiting some friends.

Hey EDKsPILOT

Good luck on the checkride! Congrats on the new "curtain climber"!

I graduated from Purdue in '90- Airline Pilot Option. Talk about a small world! I am in Rensselaer, IN. If you know Wolcott... you know Rensselaer. If you happen to be in town, I am currently the loan officer/manager of the Rensselaer Branch of Kentland Bank (located just north of St Joseph's College.) Feel free to stop in.

Be well and fly safe.

This wouldn't have anything to do with my name would it, Doug?
