....well soft wings anyways. Get the hard ones pinned on Friday. Got to end it all on a 2 v 1 ACM solo, in the jet I qual'd at the carrier in no less :)

Do they still give out the little certificate and card with your "Naval Aviator number" on it at graduation?

No idea to be honest....guess I will find out on Fri. Only 51 years after my old man pinned the same set of wings I will be wearing.......several thousand numbers later :)
 
Good surprise from the XO this morning....

Goin to MCAS Miramar in a couple months to fly the F/A-18C!!!

For the guy who thought he wanted to fly Prowlers, it was a bit of a shock, but definitely a good one. Gotta put the fighter pilot hat on now, and not brain dump ACM
 
Congratulations on both the wings and Miramar. I was there about a month ago and it's a beautiful area!
