Wiki type section of Jetcareers?

Cessnaflyer

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I was thinking some of the other forums I visit have a wiki section for common asked questions or explanations of acronyms or word contractions. I think this would be really benefit the community if it didn't take to many resources to make happen.

Oh. . .I can see the damage that could potentially be caused by some members.

Although, I think we already have our own little Wiki-section. It's just on the front page.

The numerous perspective write-ups, along with educational information that DT did years ago is available. I like the idea, but I think the information already available on the main page is good enough. Couple that information with the forums, a touch of search and whammy! JC-Wiki. :)

I think it might be helpful for a list of acronyms and abbreviation meanings. I know when I first started reading this site, which was not that long ago, I felt very lost and still come across things I do not understand. Things like IOE and DPE and many others I can not think of right now had me using the search and google to find a definition. I finally broke down and asked what they meant.

Could help other noobs get past the initial culture shock of the JC community.

:yeahthat::yeahthat:

I do think that Doug should update his Day in the life though, I would like to see a trip on a 763 instead of an MD for a change!:)

No... he wouldn't update the day in the life, he'd just put up a new page with the 767 info...that way, anyone can still see his MD experience.

Give it time to populate, then let us know of any other phrases, key terms and abbreviations that were left out that you think we should add.

I'm sure after a few hours it'll be well populated with pretty much any aviation abbreviation we can think of.

good idea!, could you please recommend that to him? and actually updating his blog for a change!:D;)

Just kidding, for a guy who runs a website, private life, Delta life, and all that good food:D, I can't blame him haha
