Out to dinner in San Antonio, captain's eating a mexican goat dish, I'm eating someting a little more 'standard' and we're both debating whether or not "DDR-Max 2" or "DDR-Extreme" is a better PS/2 game.
 
I'm so looking forward to being an airline pilot after that statement. Eat whatever food, where ever you want and talk like nerds! Good times ahead....

little secret......I screwed that one up on this very forum.

Someone posted that "i before e except after c" has a few *weird* exceptions. Haven't missed it too many times since then.

Max2 is better than DDR Extreme, hands down. Better song selection and I HATE the new interface. I've been jammin on DDR Ultramix for the Xbox lately, though.

Now THAT game is where it's at. Too bad you need to mod the PS2 to pay it, but chips have gotten WAY cheaper and easier than they used to be. Why they couldn't bring THAT version out over here is beyond me. I'd rather play the arcade songs than a bunch of crap that I've hardly heard before....
 
Yup, we stay pretty close to it. We ate in the Mercado (????) area, but went down to "Durty Nellys" for beer, peanuts and the art-school dropout playing piano!

yeah I use a swap disc that works just fine (no chip) plus it was very cheap to do. It works on all my import ps2 games.

course I don't have time to play it much but it is the best version I think and it's ported just like the arcade even if it's in japanese you still can figure it out... Next JC let's get pics of doug and others on the pad

Either Treasure Island or the Mirage has a good DDR Extreme machine right at the entrance to the arcade. Yeah, I scoured Vegas looking for a good one. I say next Network JC we have a mini-tournament.

Can't say as I have. I might look into that swap disk, though. Sounds like the way to go.

Ahh! I'm not THAT good! I'm just impressed that an old guy like myself can actually clear a few songs in "light" mode!

Hey, the arcade machine has Light AND Beginner mode. We can have people from all skill levels playing.
