I need to know if anybody has done their CFI initial with the Wichita FSDO, and if you have. What can I expect when I do my ride there?
 
I did my MEI there with some hard-ass, although all-in-all, he was a pretty decent guy. I did my Intial CFI with Ron Albertson who was designated by the KC FSDO...or something like that. I called ICT FSDO and they couldn't do it and then it seems like it went to KC and they designated him. If you have that opportunity, I'd take it. It does cost since he's a DE, but he's a great guy and very fair.

Thats cool, I am about 2 months away from this yet, but it doesn't hurt to plan ahead. If the DE does it at KC, I wonder if I can use the DE I am using for all my other rides? He is more than qualified.
