Why Skybus?

So I keep hearing people say the Skybus pilots' uniforms look like park ranger uniforms, but I can't find any examples on the 'net.

Anyone with a cameraphone wanna risk it? :D

"....$31.80"

"Less than what you'll spend on dinner huh?"

"Yes."

Do people NOT get it?

It's NOT suppose to be that OUTRAGEOUSLY LOW. Ignorant.

I have seen Skybus pilot's uniform. "only you can prevent forest fire" come into my head. :p

I kid, I kid....:p

So snap a picture next time (but don't let 'em tell it costs extra to do that).

Austin is building a new Ultra-Low Cost Carrier terminal with financing from GE. The original plan was to attract VivaAerobus (a Mexican LCC with backing from Ryanair) and, although never stated officially, Skybus.

The new terminal is supposed to open in early May, but I may never get to see what all the hubub's about.

My observations after viewing that:

1) Since when were 12 year olds allowed to be FAs?

2) The video quality was on par with a freshman video project.

3) I threw up a little in my mouth.

After seeing this video I want to fly up to St. Augustine (if they still fly there) and just point and laugh and run away! OUTRAGEOUS!............ugh

If that's the best their marketing department can do, I don't think we have anything to worry about. ;)

Well, of course not. That will make other carriers that operate the A319 try to match or beat Skybus' prices, which, in turn, will lower crew salaries.

I know very well what their hopes were. Thankfully, it was a failed plan from the start.

I'm semi-surprised they didn't last a bit longer given their rapacious wage rates. I guess people didn't appreciate the offer to participate in the "retail cart."

Ask and you shall recieve...
