Why JC is awesome.

I'm old enough to remember, on a particularly bad day many, many years ago that @CK had a very negative experience or something. I think he lost a job. He even questioned aviation, and if it was worth it. You know, days like all human beings experience...that pass...but you just want to vent. Of course, Alex was only 8 years old at the time so we gave him some cookies and milk and he cheered up. Also, as the JC community does - they rallied around Alex. As is expected. Except one guy. I don't recall his name but he had a burning bridge for an avatar, and consistently refused help from people as well as call out Doug (an affirmative action hire wouldn't you know) and then blasted Alex for having what he considered a leg up on everyone and it was so unfair and such.
Fast forward to today. Alex, apparently, is the God of aviation and employs all the JC'ers he wants, leaving the lessor beings for backup jobs at Delta, SWA, FedEx, etc.
I wonder what that burning bridge guy is doing?
Moral: Try not to piss off the wrong people here or anywhere else. Since "The wrong people" can be hard to identify, or are perhaps currently at a station beneath your own then just go ahead and treat everyone with a modicum of decency.

This is 1000% true...not sure if his actual story is, but it could absolutely be true, from my experiences.
